New Game on Nitrome: Flipside

Here is another awesome game from Nitrome called "Flipside". It is a racing game consisting of 15 levels that you can play with either two players or you against three computer players. Your car can be turned upside down, but it works better at sticking to the curvy, bumpy and sometimes upside-down track if it is right-side-up. Sometimes there are obstacles you have to get past, such as giant toothed wheels or pink laser teleporters that move you back in the level. To unlock the next track in one player mode, you must come in first, which makes this game rather challenging. Here is the link:

Enjoy!

Today, I finished up the "Swept Away" halloween quest. I had to go to three different witches who lived in Lower Asgarnia to enchant a broom, so that a certain travelling witch could stir some witch's potion with it. One witch, named Aggie, Wanted me to solve a puzzle. I had to erase four lines in the puzzle, so that four small triangles were left, and nothing else. I erased the top left left corner line,
the center left hand line, the center right hand line, and the lower right right hand corner line. Another witch wanted me to go down to her basement and get her a newt so that she could make me a potion that would enchant the broom. It wasn't that simple, though! The delivery goblin, who was still in her basement, got the labels all messed up on the three crates: one was on the cage for newts, (which I needed a newt from), one was holding frogs, and one was holding both newts and toads. (I can't give you a cheat for this one because they put the creatures in the crates at random). The last one wanted me to sort out her menagerie of animals. I don't remember how I did this, though. It's pretty easy; you'll get it. I went back to the travelling witch and stirred the brewing goulash with it. She gave me some quest points, ten bowls of some experience-increasing goulash, some advice, some practice in understanding witchy-talk, and a broom.

Also, I beat the stronghold of security, even though I am only level 24!!! I just ran through all five levels, and I squeezed by with only three hitpoints left at the end, along with some very cool boots. I ended up earning about fifteen to twenty-five thousand gold points in total. This is definately worth it if you don't have a whole lot of cash, and I certainly don't. I went to the Grand Exchange and bought an adamant armour set with it.

I also beat the cockroach jail, with the guidance of my friend. Do not try this if you do not have at least one hour of RuneScape time. How to beat it: Go to the *unknown* jail. Lift up the jail hatch in the rear of the building and talk to the guard down there. He will tell you to read all of the plaques on the doors of the cells. Do this, and go up the single set of stairs that are found around where the guard is walking. Talk to Proffessor Henry and take the test he gives you. Don't worry, it's a pretty easy test. Then go back down to the jail cells, and in an empty one you will find a poster. Click on the poster. Do not attemt if you are afraid of cockroaches. Search the entire nest for a large lever and pull it when you find it (it may take some time to find it). Go back to where you came from and open up the jail door, near there. Search for a very large green chest, open it, and collect your cash!

Numbskull

There is a new puzzle game out on Nitrome called "Numbskull". You have to get a skull back to the rest of his skeleton by rotating parts of a puzzle. It is composed of fifty levels that get harder when you progress. It can be really hard!!! Even I had to use a walkthrough on some levels. Here is the link:

Update to runescape journal:

I just noticed that I died! I was killed by a level-40 chaos dwarf because my computer froze when I was about to retaliate. I went to my bank and am now armed in steel, with a steel two-hand sword. :(
I have done a third of the Halloween quest. I got the witch from Port Sarim; I forget her name.
If you need help with any quest tell me.
